Physical Therapy

Rachel Fagan is a licensed Physical Therapist in NC. She can help clients with functional movements, or regaining flexibility and strength after an injury or surgery. She frequently helps clients to continue a home based exercise program or to advance that program. Her services are not billed through insurance but private pay.

Rachel has experience in personal training clients with physical or medical limitations. She can help with strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. She can set up a program and meet once or twice weekly to help clients toward their goals. She can do this in your home or hers.

Yoga Instruction

Rachel has done two yoga teacher trainings and has 12 years of experience teaching yoga classes. (See bio) Rachel teaches safe, supportive, yoga with the use of many props. This helps to make the yoga postures or asanas accessible to older students and safe for those with physical limitations. She combines many therapeutic movements into her classes and her goal is to have clients feel better after class.

About Rachel Fagan

Rachel teaches alignment based yoga with care for safe and supported practice. She uses her Physical therapy knowledge to help students with physical injuries or limitations. This can be done in class or private yoga sessions. She also incorporates mindfulness and breathing techniques. Her goal is for students to leave a class or a private session feeling more relaxed and centered physically and emotionally.

Taught Yoga in Asheville numerous places including : One Center Yoga, The Embodiment Center, Hanger Hall School for girls, French Broad River Academy, Mahec employee yoga, girl scout troops, church retreats, and women’s weekends.
